The Hudson Valley Old Time Power Assoc. Inc., a non-profit Corporation to promote interest in and the preservation of the tools and equipment of yesterdays rural America.
Organized in 1976 and starting with the purchase of approximately 20 acres of vacant land, we have since built this into a show grounds with several buildings; meeting hall, storage sheds, a blacksmith shop, refreshment stand and modern rest rooms. A drilled well now supplies our water. We have on display and running, one of the largest antique engines in the northeast. Most equipment is owned and displayed by the individual members, who receive no reimbursement for displaying at the show. Our museum shows labor saving equipment for the farm and home. See the equipment of yesteryear in action. Most equipment is restored and in operation. Mission Dedicated to the restoration and preservation of antique farm and related equipment/inventions and education to the community about the history of days past. |
